*Did you know that 90% of brain development begins before five years of age?
Quality matters in early childhood intervention. In this time of development and possibilities, the early intervention environment you choose makes a difference in the opportunities your child will have to learn and develop skills for success in school and later on in life.
Blossoming Minds Extended Day Program
Blossoming Minds is an intense early intervention day program where children from ages birth to six can receive one on one verbal behavior therapy, social groups alongside typically developing peers, food programs, toilet training and more.
* 1:1 Session with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
* Electronic Data Tracking on Catalyst (parents and caregivers log in and see how their child performed at any given time)
* Goals and behavior can be monitored remotely
Parent Programs:
*Parents are assigned their own goals and programs
*A BCBA works closely with the parents and the RBTs to ensure proper teaching and generalization of skills
Food Programs:
* Food Refusal program which gently introduces desensitization techniques to address the food aversion
*Parents and BCBA work hand in hand for optimal results and coordinate with a pediatrician as needed
Transition and Discharge:
DIS has established relationships with preschools in the community that allow us to fade our clients into their programs with our assistance. Staff from the Blossoming Minds team will shadow the client in order to provide the most seamless transition possible from our program into the mainstreamed environment or into our private school, Rock Point Academy.
**Our services are covered by insurance. We are in network with most major private insurance companies**
