Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Professional Crisis Management Instructor
I’m a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Professional Crisis Management Instructor and owner of DIS and Rock Point Academy. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Miami at Florida International University in 2000 and immediately began working in the field at the Dan Marino Center in Weston, FL. I later moved and earned my master’s at Florida State University in 2002 where I began the ABOVE ALL program at FSU which to this day remains a practicum site for graduate students. I also helped develop a data taking system that was adopted in local classrooms and other facilities serving the special needs population. I later returned to South Florida where I was in charge of overseeing home and site-based services to children with special needs. In 2003 I was hired as Associate Director to run a private practice offering clinic-based services to children with autism and other disabilities. In 2004 I began my own private practice which today serves individuals in Palm Beach and Broward County. I’m also a wife and mother of three beautiful boys who have inspired me not only to help special needs children but give parents the tools they need to manage their home and precious children.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
